App/Task Switcher gone...
New to the site. Just purchased a X50v and upgraded it to A03.

At some point, I installed a shareware app and then removed it and now my App/Task Switcher that came with the PDA is gone. I'm thinking when I removed a piece of shareware that it somehow got removed dureing the removal process.

Can anybody tell me where to grab that application to reinstall. I'm assuming since it came with The Dell, I have a licence to use it but I'm not sure where to get it from.

Help!

Oh, and what was the name if it? I forgot.

Try a soft reset

(and try Magic button instead of the task switcher)

Also remember that you have to keep enableing the switcher after each soft reset. For whatever reason Microsoft must have decided that it was not something that should stay activated after you soft reset. So go back into the controll pannel and make sure its re-enabled.

I don't think its actually possible to delete the switcher app from your axim, If you find a way of doing it then you will become an aximsite hero

And as i forgot to mention it before....

Don't worry about it.. Asking questions is a good thing :) Feel free to ask again. You can also get the benifit of other peoples questions by using the search tool in aximsite.

Just needed a soft reset.. and maybe restarting the switcher app after a reset i guess

Usually it dissapears after you install or remove a program that had an icon in the settings area. A soft reset fixes it however.

I think thats what did it. I guess we can call this a bug.
