Pictures program hanging; rom A03

I'm having a problem with the pictures program. Every time I open it and go to my built-in storage, it hangs up, causing me to have to soft-reset. I don't remember this happening in A02. Any ideas?

Update: I set the processor speed to maximum performance, and it's working alright now. But shouldn't the automatic speed setting adjust for this?

Also, I have a bunch of pictures organized in to folders on my SD card, but when I open up the pictures program to view them, all of the pictures on the card are on there. No way to open up a specific folder to view just the ones in the folder. Any way to do this, or a free program to do this?

what picture program are u used? incase of preinstalled picture viewer and large number of picture in memory, it take a lot of time to colect info for preview. Donot reset.
