try fixing the errors w/ pocketmechanic or sktools, you probably just need to remove unused registry thingies..............................

Create a backup with Data Backup to BIS or a memory card then tell remover to remove invalid registry entries.

Your registry should be restored after a hard reset... are you sure those "errors" arent just remaining registry entries from previously installed apps? Im pretty sure remover only removes those junk entries and the ppc would do fine with or without them.

I'd try a new "remover". If you have a freshly hard rest device and an app that shows registry errors I would be much more inclined to thing that the app is at fault, not the registry.

I agree completely with Dave's comment...the only other place to look is the file store to see if you have any program loaded there. It doesn't get changed during a hard reset.
