Shipping Delay?

First I wanted to say that this forum is the reason I went with the Dell Axim.

I ordered the x50v on 5/2/05 for my wife (me) for mother’s day, thinking that because I live in Austin and other stuff I've ordered has gotten here next day that I would get this by Saturday at the latest. However, my estimated ship date is 5/13 and I was wondering if this is typical? and if you guys know where your x50's shipped from?

Do you think they are waiting on the windows 2005 and they will put that on it? that might be cool...

LOL, you said aboot:)

WM2005 will be delayed like every other MS OS. I too look forward to it, but we'll see when it finally ships.

Regarding your delay in shipping, that must be a Dell specific internal delay. I'm not sure where mine was shipped from, but it did get here earlier than anticipated, and I'm in Toronto!

They're waiting for somebody to return one so they can ship it to you. That's all they do; recycling the axim.

LOL

I can see the response from Dell..

We're sorry your packaged has been delayed. We are experiencing a decline in returns and therefor your Axim has not arrived back to us so that we may ship it out to you.

Thank you for your concern. We are sure that someone in their great wisdom will have decided that they should get a PSP over the Dell and will be returning there Dell very shortly.

Please be patient. Please Visit our WM2005 section for no information on if and when WM2005 will ever be sent to Axim X50 Owners.
