Battery Bar Colour Change.

Ok I thought that as of the A02 Rom update the battery bar in the power setting was supposed to change colour to reflect battery drain. I never got this on the A02 Rom nor now on the A03 Rom. I couldn't find anything to select this setting and it doesn't do it automatically. My bar stays green the whole time. Any ideas?

Mine does the same thing. I use todaypanel pro which displays the battery charge on my today screen.

I also upgraded to A03

Mine turns yellow once it goes down beyond a certain level (not sure what level because I never looked that closely). By chance, did you do a restore from backup after the ROM upgrade? This is just a guess, but if so, you may have overwritten the "new" feature with the old. This happened to a lot of folks with respect to the wireless double click button feature added by the A02 upgrade. When a restore from backup was done, that feature was overwritten.

I always do fresh install. No restores for me.

Just did a check on my X50v and the bar turns sort of an orange-yellow color when the main battery drops below 20%. I did not let the battery drain down any further to test whether it would change to red or some other color at an even lower battery capacity level.

This is a strange one. My indicator always used to change colour as it dropped using A02, with A03 it seems to be remaining green.

I'm not at all concerned; I just though I'd add the info to this thread.

I have A03 and it usually changes color when it drops below 20%.

If you are not using Magic Button then I would suggest you do. One of the nice things about it (beside its main features) is that it has a fixed battery Icon that shows its status (in 3 colors: Green, Yellow, Red). Follow this link: http://www.trancreative.com/mb.aspx

I have Magic Button and love it for easily really closing programs. But, I have never seen the battery icon change color when I'm using my Axim on battery power. Is it supposed to be more red as the battery is used? Maybe I just haven't let the battery get low enough to see it change...??

I was going to throw in Magic Button. Freeware, easy to use, small app. Someone else already did...
