FlashAssist supported sizes are:
240 x 268 pixels
240 x 295 pixels
240 x 320 pixels
Some thought:
I am guessing that they are limiting the size!!
Since flash movies are scalable, therefore any tool showing flash content in full screen should also do VGA….
on the other hand the content could be an issue; for instance if the flash movie was made with PPC in mind and contains lots of small bitmaps or embedded video it wouldn’t look as good if you resize it!!
Some extra info about flash movies:
Flash supports two types of image formats, vector and raster. Vector graphics are created with lines and curves and descriptions of their properties. Raster images are created with pixels. Vector graphics are very small in file size and they scale without distorting the image at any resolution.
Though Flash is a vector-based authoring tool, you can also use bitmap images and embed video in Flash. (Bitmap images and videos are not created natively in Flash.)
Unlike vector graphics, bitmap images and video are not very scalable.
