x50v Stuntcar Extreme lag
I bought myself stuntcar extreme (since it didn't come with my axim) and installed it. Looks neat but it seems to freeze for a sec or so and then continue playing normally for 5 secs and freeze again!!! This bothers me alot... is this normal 3d-lag or what and what can I do about it?
P.S. The 3d racer demo ( download here) doesn't show any lag at all! And yes i have my CPU at max performance, 25 mb of free ram and am using picard's gapi tweak.

Mine does this too since I went to A03 (note: GAPI will do nothing for the game)
It also seemed to install the game into BIS when I am sure I said SD-Card... where is yours installed? SD-card should be faster... you can always try main memory too.
Cheers

Yeah it did it here too, the cab file installed itself in the built in storage, and i moved it manually to my CF card. No difference at all...

Works ok for me A03 (i've just check as i havent played it for months) Try turning the processor speed up.. and turn of the wifi powersaving option (WLAN utiliry (disable WLAN to conserve power when battery is low should NOT be selected), GAPI tweak turned off, Mirror mode turned off

I might play with it on the weekend and see if I can solve the problem...
Everything on mine is set to auto BTW.

Try setting your processor speed to High, as i noticed sometimes the transition between processor speeds is not so smooth and a temporary lag occurs, so that may make your game glitch.

I've seen it happen on my lil' assassin. A soft reset usually fixed it for me.

Is Stuntcar Extreme for sale the same as the one from the Dell CD? Is the Dell version 3D accelerated for the 2700?

The one which came with my x50v (Dell version as you say) it is 3d accelerated yes, that was the point of it, to show off the capabilities of the integrated graphics card i presume. (not much of a great game)
