you guys have a bump like this on your X50 screen?

As seen in the top right corner of the pics. I had them on my old X50v as well the replacement one. Both got screen alignment issus.

On the right side of my screen, it seems to bulge up in the middle and on the left there is a bump towards the bottom of the screen. I had never noticed this before and it doesn't affect performance. I've had no alignment issues.

I think you should join the clan of the puffy screens ^_^ okay there isnt a puffy screen clan but in hardware problems there is a thread on puffy screens... its like mine has a bigger glob of gel in the middle of my screen so it needs to be poked harder.

No bump on my screen. It's not puffy either. I've had my Ax since 11/04.

yes i have seen that raised portion. i've had 2 replacements...3 total that have been in my hand that have had that. no issues tho

.. i don't see any bumps on mine however i have a boxwave screen protector on it. i haven't noticed any "issues" with my screen.

out of curiosity, is there a screen "test" program for the axim like there are for lcds?

This is the area where the electrical connections come off of the touchscreen. most PDAs have a similar 'bump' in the sidee where the connections are. It shouldn't affect the operation of the digitizer though.
