Force program manager into VGA mode?

I have over 100 programs on my device, and despite having the capability to do VGA I still only get the program manager in 3*4 icons like on every other PDA I've had... Unlike Windows where you can pick "list" "icons" or "details" for the programs view I can't change this...

Is there any way to force Program manager into VGA? Or a full replacement for the screen?

I'd like to have it look like it is when i reboot into true VGA with se_vga...

TIA...

Nobody? I'd hate to keep my device in VGA all the time...

If you want, you can start up file Explorer and navigate to: \windows\Start menu\Programs.

Then you can change the view settings.

(I hope this answers your question as it is a little hard to understand what exactly you want (or asking) ).

Sorry if the question wasn't clear...

When I click start > programs I want the programs overview to be in VGA mode. Seems pretty simple to me, I hate having to scroll down 4 pages of apps to get to the one I want. Going through filemanager isn't really an option...

So: Can I force the programs manager into VGA?

and if not:

Is there a better program manager, one that actually replaces the default one?

I'm assuming you've tried the VGA hack on program manager and it didn't have any effect. In that case, if you are trying to manage that many programs you'll probably want to check out something like SPB Pocket Plus anyways. You could make several groups/tabs with lots and lots of little program icons.

I use Conduits Pocket Launcher. It is VGA aware and can be configured to use the 16x16 icons with or without text. Also supports tabs, multiple regions. Not free, however.
