Program to show CPU speed

has anybody made a program that sits in the taskbar/menubar that shows the CPU speed of the X50v when set to auto. I don't meen to actually controll it like pockethackmaster or xcpuscale does.

Thanks

it shows the processor activity in tray bar so : lot of activity: full speed , low activity ; smaller cpu speed.
well that's how i use it to figure out the speed of the cpu in auto.

kind of annoying how it flashes the clock and the "start" at the top of the screen along with the little monitor at the bottom (X5)....

You could also try XPU Scaler, it overclocks and shows the current speed and utilization. It costs money but it is a program that does 2 things, OC and monitoring. You can try the trial version, it just doesn't allow you to use the autoscale to cpu load.

Thanks for the program, it works for me!, My old x5 advanced pulled through again! I want an x50v :(

I could live with the blinking, BUT the program impacts x50's ability to scale the CPU. I notice it won't let x50 drop below 416mhz and slowly drops speed from 500+ to 416mhz as well. Makes be believe it's a resource hog.

Ya I don't enjoy that on my x5 either seems like it take roughly 4% of the cpu and prevents an idle. If only there was something like xpu scaler except without the ocing :)

XPU scaler takes little resources and it controls the entire cpu speed :/

MMMMmmmm, Tried XCPUScalar and set it to auto scale with CPU load. And it stays at 624 even when idle. I tried this with power setting of auto and 624 but both modes kept XCPUScalar at 624 even when the CPU was at 0-2%

If you do not purchase it, you cannot control the autoscale, the xpu scalar program overrides the default stepping. There are adjustments that you can set when you buy it.
