Programs not launching.
I'm currently experiencing problems with programs not opening, I do a soft reset and it works. I installed programs to sd card. I dont recall this happening with my X5, but my x50V is giving me problems.

And WHEN is it trying to run?
If it's trying to run upon startup then programs installed on storage cards will fail a good percentage of the time.

Pocket informant 2005
MemMaid
Batterypack pro and Journal bar.
Sprite backup
Spb Finance
I've also experienced the card corruption and files disappearing.
I formatted the card, and I still have to soft reset.

I have most of my programs installed to my SD card (I plan on installing all my stuff to BIS and Main Mem when I decide to start filling up my SD card with "fun" stuff) and have no problem. Do you have the latest ROM and did you already try doing a fresh install of each program til you find which one may be causing it. This to me is the most sure fire way to see what may be causing the problem. With whacky windows it seems problems magically disappear with a fresh install. Backup after each install or at least every so often to rollback. I have never had this problem, so that is the best advice I can give you.

Yes I have the latest rom installed. I had all my programs installed in my x5 with no problems. I want to keep my main mem with only necessary programs, and my CF card for swapping out cards. I think the X30 and X50 are experiencing problems with sd cards and DELL needs to address them.

Just curious, but does anyone else have this problem?

Battery Pack Pro needs to be in main memory.
BIS might work but its not recommended.
I believe Journal Bar is the same.
As a general rule, if it shows up on the Today screen then it should not go on Storage card.
Sprite can go in BIS but I've never tried it on an SD card.

I have Battery Pack Pro and Journal Bar in main memory. Sprite is in sd card. I listed programs installed in both main memory and sd card.

Things just keep getting wierd. I turned on my ax and got warning message saying card is full.I only have about 30MB and the card is 256MB. Soft reset again and everything is fine. Any one else had this happen. I have an Lexar sd card, and was working great before X50V.

Have you tried moving it all to storage other than the sd card. maybe it is the SD card itself.

That's my next move. I'm just trying to figure out why it started to happen.
