just tried to order a x50v but there isn't an option to buy the CompleteCare option

i purchased an x50v tonite but could not find a way to buy the CompleteCareTM Accidental Damage Service - i can find it in the search function on the dell site but could not find a purchase option during checkout - has it been discontinued? - has anyone purchased it with a x50v resently???

Yeah, for some reason the Attorney Generals of those two major states (being the brillant minds that they are), have determined its improper for the citizens of their states to pay for an option that covers the loss, damage, or other major malfunction (other than the one between their ears!) of a relatively expensive piece of consumer electronics. Gee if that's the case, how come I can buy deductible car insurance, insurance for my cell phone, extended warranties on most major appliances and vehicles, and etc? Just another one of those things that make you go hmmmmmmm!

ok - here's the deal according to the "tricky dell" sales rep - CompleteCareTM Accidental Damage Service is NOT available on the web site anymore - the only way to get it is to call in your order by phone - they are trying to hide it as it isn't a big profit maker - the end
