MSN messenger keep disconnecting

I have a Netgear B router, and I have heard a lot about Netgear wireless routers keep disconnecting every 5 mins or so.

So I am doing some testing before I decide weather or not I am gonna return mine. I ran MSN messenger on my X50v and it signed me out every 7 mins or so. My router is less than 1 meter far from my X50v, got full straight and the X50v is just sitting on the desk. It did the same even though I move it further away. MSN on my other computer (other account) didn't get signed out. So I am sure it's not MSN maintenance or something.

Bu strange enough, I have never get disconnected using VNC all the time.

I had the same problem with the Netgear G router and I returned it. I don't know what is causing this problem. Any ideas?
