If you've ever used a ProntoPro with a well configured CCF you'll know what I mean. I got most of the way there with my old IPAQ, an expansion jacket and the Electric Dog extender, and it was a) pretty functional, and b) interesting to do.
I'd hope that by using the x50v I'd make the process even slicker, but it sort of falls at the first fence if I can't get the volume to go up and down.
If I can NetRemote to work, it should do everything I want, full screen config, hard button assignment, etc etc. But it seems not to like my HK amp. I may try the WinCE product over the weekend, but I'd much prefer to use something that takes CCF files.

No problem, i see your point, it is rather dull and yes it doesn't take CCF files. Just curious, how many IR devices are you planning to use because i guess you could just programme it yourself, unless it would take a little too long.
Anyway devices that are built to do one thing specifically do it much better since it is designed to accomplish that specification. :approve:
