Problems with the Pocket Internet Explorer

Hi, I just bought my Axim x50v. And I’m having problem surfing some pages with the pocket internet explorer.

When I try to enter some pages like Cnet.com, the explorer immediately closes.

I have installed macromedia flash player and SuperWaba VM.

Can someone help me?

I could be wrong beut some pages are too big to be viewed on you PPC. Accessing them cause this reaction. Try clearing your cookies and history files before accessing the page.

Your problem is Macromedia flash player. It dosent work with the operating system that is on an Axim X50v. We are hoping that the new OS will support flash. Just uninstall flash and your troubles are over.

I have flash ond can load c-net without a problem. Could it be a connection issue?

I have found that pages that use DHTML (dynamic HTML, like the menubar on the full-featured aximsite) and not 100% strict Micrsoft CSS kill pIE right away, no error. only evidence is that the css or js file was downloaded, and not any images called by it.

Its a limitation, not a bug, you might try another web brower, or set up a remote desktop connection and you can just surf using your normal web browser
