Yeah, i've been on this site for quite a while but haven't really posted anything just incase i say the wrong thing though i confess i am a bit of a computer nerd. Oh well. Jukov is totally right that this sommunity is something. Just one more question, when i do get my axim, should i buy a 1gb SD or CF type II since they are both kinda cheap as long as they are not bought in the UK. Apparently the SD slot runs a lot faster. I will be probably use it for running movies on betaplayer so it shouldnt have any lag really.

Although the speed of SD and CF varies (even within the same type) I don't think there is a lot of noticable difference to the user. So I would check to see what type your digital camerea uses (if you have one) and go with that (that way you can double up).
The best prices for flash memory I've found over here are probably from www.ebuyer.com although they seem to be much cheaper if you buy from the states (dollar exchange rate probably helps too).
Don't be afraid of asking questions.. or even giving opinions, if you ask nicely (and have a sense of humour) you'll get on just fine :approve:

Yes we need more of us Brits...What I will say is for a device I purchased for a specific reason, I have found I can do so much more with the X50V than I initially intended......Best thing i have purchased in a long time.
Ahh, but the price of those cards are way way too expensive in the UK, you know in places like the US and Asia, 1gb SD or CF cards are around £40, we can't even get a 512mb for that price. Howver you could try places like ebay but i don't really trust them, seeing all the scares that people say about them.

I got my 2GB for £50 and could probably get a 1gb CF for £40 without doing too much work.

I get most of my computer equipment from microdirect in Manchester since I used to live nearby. They don¢t sell pocket pc but they have the 1GB CF Kingston for £ 47.35 and the Elite Pro (which I got lately) for £ 53.46. I am very happy with them.

So i'm guessing every one of you have wifi on this forum, can i ask how many of you have password encrypted your router. I need to check how to do it once i have the axim so if anyone has done can you show how to do it.
