Convince me I did the right thing

I decided to buy an x50v quite a while ago(2-3 months), but because i am abroad still for educational purposes i will not get it till next week when i leave. Its been so long that all the hype has gone and i'm not reallly sure whether i should have bought it. I've seen so many VGA pvp players like the new Creative Zen Vision which have really changed my opinion. Should i still be happy with what i will get?

Can someone please remind me why i bought it and bring back the hype. Thanks

well you can
watch movies on the beutiful screen
listen to music
play games
brag about it to your friends
get on the internet
use it for presintations (using the VGA out)
record your voice on it
put you class scedual on it
put you task on it
play with it
instant message on it
type stuff on it
use skype to make it a phone
make excel tables on it
use pocket word
manage your money on it

and this is just the tip of the iceyburgy..

My x50v is better than I thought it would be. Had several PDA's in the past but my X50v goes everywhere and can do everything.
Read news, Watch Movies, Send SMS text messages, check bank account status, listen to music, play games, browse the internet via WIFI or BlueTooth (GPRS),voice record meetings, write documents, read E-Books, plan projects.
Will tackle everything you want from both work and leisure.
Best of all, you can carry it in your pocket and it switches on instantly. Best piece of kit i've bought.
You'll get your enthusiasm back when its in your hand.

What they said. But of course if all you want to do is watch movies, listen to music and look at pictures those PVP'd do have nice big hard drives. No Internet though,

Creative Zen Vision has the same screen as x50v. It is also a slightly more expensive. About 423 EURO or so. The only advantages are its 30GB disk space and USB 2.0 connectivity. But I would go for x50v since it is far more flexible. You can do much more with it than with Zen Vision.

Well i guess you guys have won me over, yeah theres the wifi i keep on forgetting though, soory not to cross forums but is the equivalne tversion of firefox for the PPC better than PIE. Since the PC IE is filled with loopholes?

MinoMo, or Mozilla for PPC is still in developement I believe. When that comes out that'll be the closest to Firefox for PPC that there is. I'm hoping for the best with MinoMo.

COnvince you? When you get it get tons of apps, games, and utilities. You are bound to find a "true purpose" for your PPC. If you put the effort into it, you will find some good use from it. However there are always people who get it and dont use it... so experiment with new apps.. get hardware.. >_< dont go broke.

Just being able to Aximsite on the fly is worth the cost; where else is there so much personality on one tech site?

You did the right thing A. because Axim is a great handheld B. More important - you are now a part of Aximsite's great community - Sure there are other good PDAs but no PDA is complete w/o a good support group and Aximsite is THE best handheld community on the net...
