Help Please: My X50v is turning on when in the cradle

This started tonight for some odd reason..I placed my X50v in my cradle..turned on , synced and turned it off.

Then about 10min later it turned itself back on...so I turned it off...happened again..huh

Only thing I did was remove Magic Button and installed GSPMagic...very nice program

I have tried to check setting but there is nothing for auto turn on/off

I have BT off, WLAN is on for wifi sync in settings, IR off...

that is what it is sposto do.

mine doesn't turn on by it's self. maybe it's your usb port. try unpluging it from usb and see if that works.

Is it your reminders causing your Axim to turn on? Sometimes removing software will reset your Sounds and Notifications.

is it set to check pop3 e-mail automaticly?

Had the same problem. You'r PDA checks for new mail automatically.

yep, I had the mail issue too... the problem eluded me for the longest time and i had to leave it plugged into the ac outlet to charge =/...

Does it do this by default as I never set it to check my mail

I do not use mu usb cable ..I sync via wifi

I check WLN and Messaging for email settings..nothing

FYI..I think I fixed the issue..under activesync I disabled sync to PC..usb connection

Not sure why this has worked since my usb cable is not connected at all

For me it would try syncing even while unplugged. I would randomly get a 'Could not connect. Check your settings.' balloon when it was trying to sync. My solution? i went to the accounts list and deleted my account info. Havent had a problem sense...
