Just thought I would let you all know that I'm going crazy staring at my axim...

It just got in today and its been charging for...4.5 hours....3.5 to go before i can play with it..

yeeeek dying of anticipation!

You can "play" with it while it's in the cradle. Install your software, and have fun.

hmmm i read the "must have donwloads" links list...

but should I get all of that?

Or should I just install the new flashware...and then slowly add programs as i go? :)

What many suggest is that before you really start to use it seriously (ie loading your real data, contacts, schedules) play around with it. Load some programs, try em out. See what you like. Then you can do a hard reset and load up only what you want.

Best thing to do would be to start with backup programs. Learn how to backup your data (sprite seems to be the popular choice). That way, you can test what you want, and restore from points just before you installed your trial software.

Have a blast. Mine came during the day. I had my son unpack it and plug it in. It was done charging shortly after dinner.
