Distorted menus when cradled

Hey guys I just got my axim x50v and I love it!! it's soooo fun to play with!

I just had a weird concern.. the battery died so I was using while it's in the cradle.. but when I press start or the little icon beside it.. all the icons go all strange and distorted. The only way to fix it is to press the little button on the back with the stylus.. does anyone know what's causing this or how to fix it?

Sorry, Just to change what I said. I noticed my icons are getting distorted all the time! It just turns sorta blackish/purple and they're all lined out. In the start menu.. and when I go into settings the big icons...

Is there something wrong with my axim??

I'm new to PPC's but ran across this same problem with my new X51V and I fixed it by doing a soft reset described here. Hope this helps....



Update...sorry I read your second post..Not sure what to try if this problem is continuing after reset is done,...
