Can anyone help? I can no longer ActiveSync my x50v

I installed Softick last week sometime and somewhere about that time I can no longer correctly sync through ActiveSync. I of course know what the program does and am able to use my x50v as a "mass storage device". This tells me that my USB cable and such is ok and my Axim is able to communicate fine. But, when switched back to "ActiveSync" as my option, Windows doesn't sync anymore. I even uninstalled the Softick program just in case it was the problem.

Any advice would be helpful. I don't want to cold boot my x50v yet and I already tried reinstalling ActiveSync. The error message that I get is something like: "Can no longer communicate with host computer. Please reset your device..." or something like that.

Oh, I'm also not sure if it really is the fault of "Softick" as I also bought and installed "StyleTap" (Palm emulator) at the same time.

Any ideas?

Looks like you need to hard reset, uninstalling ActiveSync on your PC should reset all the settings on your PC side, maybe Softick changed something for the bad

Its a risk that is taken with any software you install just like on your pc

From time to time this keeps happening to me as well.I discovered that sometimes it happens if I leave the wi-fi on when i put the x50v in the dock, it won't sync. If i take it out, turn off wi-fi then it will sync. But sometimes, last week, nothing seemed to work. Since i do a full back-up every week or so, I just did a hard reset and restored the backup. Everything is fine again. But I can't pinpoint the problem to any particular piece of software.
