FYI: My unused X50v in powersave mode still had charge....

after 4 days...in fact with no use it was still at 78%

I just took a small trip to NYC...backed my power plug but forgot my stupid adapter at home ..crapped a twinkie figuring my unit would lose power and drain everything...I was playing with it a bit on the plane when I realized this( I was at 98%)..so I last charged at 12pm friday
Got it today at 1000am had 78% charge(I stored it in safety deposit box)

man was I pissed..I d/led subway maps, bus maps...I wish Dell had a universal adpater..I even tired quickly to find someone in NYC that sold the stupid adapter..why did Dell do that...should have been a port to just plug the power plug fro mthe cradle into the bottom...could have had both a sync connector and the pug port....darn them

Oh well just happy to battery was ok

any place beside dell to buy these adapters???

There are no brick and mortar Dell stores are there? I know there are kiosks but they only take orders but do not sell anything.

Hmm, what battery do you use? original 1100mAh?

I am using the original battery.
I have my Axim "suspended" and playing music.
The battery went down to 9% after 5 - 6 hours...

Does playing music really drain the battery THAT much?? I didn't even try watching videos on it. I wish my battery lasted longer, or it can't be a "portable media player" replacement.

Methinks you should try that: http://www.boxwave.com/products/easy...m-x50v_446.htm

I've bought miniSync and Wall Charger for it. While I keep my cradle at work, I always carry miniSync and Wall Charger, so that I could sync everywhere I want, or charge.
Unfortunately, using miniSync you can charge your X50 only when it's turned off. Otherwise it won't work.
