Battery dead???

For the past few days i have been trying to turn my X50v on, and no joy, so i put it in the cradle and it says memory error blah blah, and the batterys dead so i think that i must have left it on but tonight (early hours of this morning :rolling: ) i am playing with it and it goes, as if i turned it off, i tryed turning it back on but no joy, so i put it in the cradle what do ya know it pops up with memorey error . i have been watching it charge and has gone from 0 bars to 12 bars (SPB Pocket Plus ) or from 0% to 68% (in the last 3 mins). Im no genius but i think i have one big time dud battery? looks like it will be a nice talk with dell tech support

^thats how I think tomorra is gonna go with Dell tech support, sorry for the pictures, they make me feel better

I rang tech support, now they think its the Back Up battery because we had to take the bettery out to get the servic tag number but left the battry out for about 20 mins, so the guy tells me to reset, then he says what is on the screen i tell him i see my today screen and the "back up battery low" pop up, so he now thinks its the backup battery. Dose anyone know of a battery testing program?

Your best bet is replace the backup battery with a new one.

I cant not in the X50, i dont think it is the backup battery, because for the last few days it has been doing this, the back up battery has worked
