Mad X50v blues! :(

Guess what happened to me yesterday... I had ordered my x50v last week and waited for it to be delivered into my hot little hands, then on Monday the courier said they had a "Systems Error" meaning that the delivery would be delayed by a day... It was delivered yesterday and guess what.. both the 'tamper evident' seals were broken and upon opening I'd found out that someone had stolen the Axim out of the box (leaving all the accessories, manuals, cradle, etc...)

Then was put on hold to Dell for 40 minutes waiting to organise a replacement. Got told the same old BS story that "we are experiencing a large volume of calls", etc...

Asked for an absolutely new order to be shipped to me, I will return all this junk they delivered and wait for a new one.

I'm actually sickened that someone had the nerve to steal the unit in transit.

I look on the bright side - they must be damn good :)

BDL - who now has to wait a few more weeks for his Axim.
(and who funnily enough though when he first saw the axim-less box that they might have shipped the PDA unit separately because it needed to be reflashed with WM5

Wow - this seems to happen quite a bit for the overseas orders. . . Shame . . .

I bet whoever is doing this will eventually get caught. The shipper will find out who's responsible to keep their insurance rates down.
