Trying to update X50v to A03 - PC restarts during update

Having just discovered the A03 update, I attempted to update. Everytime (3 times) it attempts to update the ROM, about midway the computer restarts. I will give you step by step instructions of what I do.

1. Download R98710.EXE and save it to a certain location on my hard drive.
2. Double click R98710 icon, click "Run" from Windows Security Warning, "Continue" on System Utilities prompt, "OK" to unzip files to "C:\Dell\Drivers\R98710\". "All files were successfully unzipped.
3. Click "Install Now" on the ReadMe.htm page. Click "Run" two more times from Windows Security Warnings.
4. "Update ROM">"Next">"Next" (with "Save the current ROM to a specified location" checked)>"Continue" (to clear all data)>"Save" (before beginning update, I must backup current ROM)
5. ROM is saved and update begins. I don't think the computer restarts at the same percentage of update completion every time, but it seems to happen towards the middle.

that is purely bizar to have your desktop pc reboot while its updating your axim. my guess is retry it on a different pc.
