Um...how do I fix the stylus pressure click thinger?
Howdy Howdy Everyone!
I for the life of me cannot figure out how to fix my axim. As it stands right now, I have to hold the stylus on buttons for almost a second to get it to click on it. It is not sensitive at all.
Is there anyway to change how sensitive it is to my stylus? I want to be able to give a split second small tap and for it to work.
Is it possible to fix this problem?

Was it always that way since you started using it, or did it start doing that after you had used it for a while. ROM A02 made the screen more sensitive, but it sounds like you have a delay problem, not a screen sensitivity issue.

Are you using a screen protector?

Yes, I am using a boxwave crystal clear screen protector. It has always been doing this. It is A03
The reason I believe it is a sensitivity issue and not a delay issue is because when I tap on it too soft the menu will dissapear as if it was loading, wait a few minutes nothing. Do it again a bit harder and longer and then it pops up

Try doing a new "note" an try different pressure
you will see if it's really a sensibility problem.

Hmmm. Looks like it is not a sensitivity issue. Perhaps it is a Wisbar Advanced 2 issue. Or I guess a delay. Weird.

I assume you have tried a soft reset? You may want to try doing a backup and then a hard reset to see if it still does it on a clean axim.

Try removing screen protector, and see if that corrects sensitivity:approve:

I will probably try the hard reset after I can save up money to get me the sprite backup program
as for the screen protector, before I had the screen protector I had the same exact problem :)

fyi...that info about you using wisbar would have been helpful in your first post.
any-hoo, yes, it is a wisbar issue, not your machine.
go download the beta version at lakeridge's site. it's faster.

I guess I should be leary of saying this but the databackup on the pda works just as good as sprite for what you are trying to do. I have restored from it many times after doing something stupid and crashing my pda. (of course your results may vary ) the sprite backup is great for a lot of things like saving backups to your pc but the built in one will save it to your sd/cf card for you. but i wouldn't waste your time with the Activesync backup. it is slow and my experience is that it doesn't always work right.
Other things to check: is your processor set to auto or somthing other than slow? when you do a soft reset and before starting anything else, is it better? How much memory do you have left in ram? anyway, good luck which ever way you choose to go.

don't bother hard resetting...just get the newer version of wisbar.
no use losing all your data over one slow/old app.

Don't look elsewhere. Wisbar advence DOES add a delay.
Be sure to turn on the cache icon and cache background in wisbar setting.
After the first opening of the menu, it will take about 1 second.
Also, using "auto cpu speed" doesn't help (when you don't do anything, it run at 104Mhz, but does take some time to max the speed when you open something)

Thank you all for your input!
The only reason I didn't mention wisbar advanced earlier is because I forgot that it could have been an issue. I only figured it could have been an issue when I ruled out the sensitivity elsewhere with it.
I will get that beta version and install it, it should help.
Thank you for the backup information as well :D
