Why ami receiving a licence expires message when using BT? Does it maean that my axim x50v comes with a trial version of BT? I don't understand this because I just click "ok" and turn it on again and continue working. It just happen like once a week.
But please, somebody tell me it's not that the licence really expires after using it for a while....

Yea! I got that too, I completely forgot about it! I guess that means that it was ok then, i mean i clicked "ok" or whatever and it is still working fine a week later... I would still be quite curious to learn more though!
I get that occasionally too. At first I thought maybe the BT drivers were some time limited demo but it works still. It is more likely to be some sort of security thing, maybe there is some key that is known as a license which lasts for a few days before being considered out of date to stop hackers who get access from keeping it for long. Does this error happen to everyone who keeps their BT on all the time and who doesn't soft-reset often (I presume if the device resets or BT is turned off and on, a new license is generated)?
I purchased a USB Bluetooth adapter for my desktop PC today -- until today, I've never used ANYthing bluetooth -- except for my BT keyboard.
When I installed the USB thing to my desktop, after all was said and done, I got the same error (this is on my desktop -- **NOT** my Axim). What fixed it for me was to use the D-Link drivers, and not the Microsoft ones.
Kept looking for a "LICENSE2.DLL" and a "LICENSE4.DLL".
i think this is because u switch on ur bt after reset and never change ur system time. and the next time after uchange ur system time, and run bluetooth, the message pop up

Re-install your drivers

I've had that on XP ... just remove your BT device from Device Manager and re-install. If it doesn't ask you for a CD (and installs the drivers built in to XP), then go in and update the driver with the one on the CD.
I too have this BT license expiry message once in a while when I was using the A03 ROM on the x50. I called the tech support and he said it's better to RMA the device. I highly doubt it's anything to do with the hardware but just to be on the safe side since my 30-day period will be over very soon.
