Just go away if you have nothing usefull to say. Sell your PDA on ebay and quit this forum.

One thing you should know, people always complain when they have problem. But those that have good working don't always come here to say it work and that they love it. Dell is selling thousands of X50v (yes, you are not alone buying it) and if you count the number of bad experience here, it's a very small percentage. Before buying Dell, I looked on Ipaq forum, guess what ? there is as many bad report too (and maybe more than here if you count the number of member here vs other smaller forum)

You have a bad experience with your X50v, I'm sorry for you. But it's not because YOU had a problem that the unit is good for garbage. You are not the center of the world. Just acept that you had bad luck and others might have good experience with axims

Those kind of post really show us your maturity.
Piss Off!!!! I have plenty useful things to say. I will do my best to make sure new people like me dont fall for the Dell axim piece of crap trap. This site is not just for the good SLICK!!! its also for the bad. Me and many others have not had a good experience with the axim and i will let it be known. So take your own advice and go away.

I'm sorry you had such a bad experience. but, I know many handheld users, Dell and HP, and both have issues here and there regardless of the company. Neither comapny I know has ever caused me to spew such negativity on a forum. Perhaps if you took a chill pill and relax people would be more helpful (intstead of taking two hours). It would definitely be good on your blood pressure.

The one and only time I had to exchange an Axim with Dell it took less then 20 minutes on the phone and the box was at my door the next day. That is the type of customer service that keeps people coming back.

If you have a problem with your Axim, you will post about it. If you don't, you'll probably never will. I have so far only had good things with my X50v, for about 6 months now. I will buy Dell again.

Make a forum about any product, and you will see people that have problems with theirs. Find out how many X50s Dell has sold and then add up the problem posts on this forum. I bet it won't be even 1% of the total sold.

You could downgrade to ROM A03 to see if that solves any problems. Dell still has the download link active for it here .
