Mine is also in transit. I got a great deal (I think) at 35% off my order. It's been kind of a hassle though as they were supposed to ship next day air, the UPS tracking number shows ground, and everything has been listed on the site as "in transit" since sometime Saturday. Interestingly enough, they swear it will be at my house tomorrow, even though the UPS site still shows it's not been received yet.
I payed 63.35 dollars for a single 2200 mAh. I think I got majorly ripped off.
You can find brand new ones on ebay for about 30-40 if you spend some time. OEMs are notorious for ripping off customers, especially since they usually offer discounts to other sites while keeping their own prices raised.

If I remember Dell only has 1 Business day, 2 Business day, and the 3-5 day regular shipping. Therefore, I don't think they operate on weekends or on July 4th. So, I think you should be on track.
And... if they operate on weekends.
In transit means...
(After Manufacturing) Dell Manufacturing Plant (Ships)-> the regional distribution site. (So this could take 1 day)
Then...
From the Regional distribution site -> to your house. 1 Day
Exclusing July 4th, it should be at your house tomorrow or possibly the day after.
Anyways I got a great price for the Dell Axim X50v, but I bet most of you alreayd know this. Don't buy their batteries XD

Oh well... my x50V is in transit :approve:
Dell, like all other major manufacturers, does not make much profit on the device itself. Their profit margin comes from all the accessories, warranties, complete care, etc. that we buy. I personally prefer to buy the device from the manufacturer, but get all the accessories from other online stores.
Yea, I didn't intend to buy the accessories from Dell, but somehow it's a part of the package?
I never went to the site and physically added another battery because that would have cost 99.9 dollars.
They had 2 x50V packages at 19 dollars difference.
I bought the more expensive one which was $418 and what it included that the cheaper packages didn't include was a free version of Windows Mobile 5.0, 2 yrs Lim War, 2 Yr Tech Supp, 2 Adv Exchange (Compared to the other's 1 yrs), and I guess it also included a battery... which cost me a fortune.
It's ok though. I just can't wait to get my Axim :).
:approve:
I looked at the same deal, ended up going with a slightly different one because I wanted 3 yr warrenty along with the 3 yr accidental damage (I've had pda's for years, and it seems after a couple years they almsot always die for me somehow)
New update as of 6pm tonight....UPS has received my new Axim, as a ground shipment rather then overnight as I requested. Here's the kick....my unit shipped out of Nashville, 40 miles from my house, so it'll be there tomorrow. Sure wish I'd have known when I ordered Friday, I'd have picked it up myself and saved all this hassle. (The Dell rep told me the unit would ship out of Texas...cause I thought about picking it up ;-)
