can I shring taskbar and start menu bar?
Well basically what the title says:

I think both the taskbar and the start menu bar use a HUGE screen space. Can I change their size?

Well, if you've got X50v, try SE_VGA, OZ_Vga or Nyditot (free beta version). It'll give you more screen real estate.
