Anyone?

I looked through the online "User's Manual" but didn't see an answer for this.

The resolution is 1024x768 using Nyditot and the software works very fine :).

I just bought a VGA out cable to allow me to use my axim for powerpoint presentations at work but it won't work with the projector they have. The video out is fine when I connect to a standard CRT monitor, but with the projector I get a "frequency is out of range error". I've tried in mirror mode, with Nyditot, with Clearvue and with the enhanced GAPI drivers. None of this makes any difference and none of these programs allow the output frequency to be altered from its default 60Hz. Having said this, I have no idea why it isn't working in the first place, as the projector is a Sony SVGA VPL-CS7, and the specifications suggest that it should be able to handle all the resolutions and frequencies that the axim can possibly throw at it.

Any suggestions? If I can't get things working my VGA out cable has just been a big waste of money.

Perhaps try a lower resolution... the projector might prefer that.

@medevo - thats a really neat idea. I hope you can get it to work. Then maybe we can use that for gaming! ^_^ lol

Still no luck with the Sony SVGA VPL-CS7 projector - it just doesn't seem to like the Axim video out signal. I've tried all resolutions and screen orientations and even upgraded to the latest bios (A05). Does anyone know if the default output refresh rate can be altered from 60Hz - its the only other thing I can think of, although the projector specifications suggest that it should support all 3 possible axim output resolutions at this frequency anyway.

I don't believe that you can change the refresh rate. I did a good amount of beta testing on the Nyditot software and the intel chip can output up to 1280x1024

Also, someone was asking about "tapping

Also, someone was asking about "tapping" being the same as clicking. Answer: It is the same.

I have the Dell branded ThinkOutside bluetooth keyboard and the ThinkOutside Bluetooth mouse, The keyboard works great, but the mouse is, so far, incompatible with Nyiditot Virtual Display.

One more thing, Nyditot Virtual Display software does not strech the display, everything gets tinyier(sp?) the higher the resolution you go.

Is it possible for the X50v to ahve a USB host capability via the dock connector?
The Asus Mypal has this via the dock connector, i was wondering if the Axim had this capabiltiy.
I know it's not advertised by dell, but i've heard of
"hidden connectors" or pins down there that have this functionality, but not able to do it because of the lack of software.
Also is it possible to make a single multi tentacled cable?

All I know is that I'd kill to have USB funcionality without spending $130 on a CF USB host.

I'm using my x50v with an in-car touch screen but I can't use the touch screen functionality because I can't connect to the Axim via USB :(
