No sign of Wi-Fi :(

Heya,
OK, I am having huge problems trying to get my Axim x50 to communicate directly with my network! I wonder if anybody would be so kind as to point me in the right direction?

I dont seem to have the DELL WLAN Utilility, or the Odyssey Client installed on here at all, does it come pre installed or do I have to download it from somewhere?

I'd be ever so grateful if somebody would be so kind as to help me with this, its really frustrating me.

Warmest Regards,
Liam Squires

Li, my brand new X50v (got it last week) did come with both programs preinstalled. Is yours new?

Are you looking in the right place? (not trying to insult) Mine were listed under Settings/Connections. I configured my WiFi under connections. You have to config it as a work network.

That's as much help as I can be, hope that helps!

If you would like Wifi, you better return your axim and get the X50 520Mhz. It have more memory and builtin Wifi. it will cost you the same as the 416Mhz + a Wifi Card... Very bad buy to do if you want Wifi.

Nah, s'alright to be honest, I just picked up a Wi-Fi SD card for £22, so I'm okay. Add onto that my 2.2 gb CF card, and I think I've got a nice system really.
