Go into file explorer and delete the old icon> go to the new location of the executable file> tap and hold> choose copy> go back to where you want the icon> tap and hold> and choose paste shorcut.

in future, install form a CAB file, using cabinst so you can specify where it goes, so windows doesnt get confused and corrupted to its location.

after you move the application, you should remove the applications shortcut from the start menu, since the old shortcut wont work.

you will find these in /windows/start menu/

find and delete the shortcut of the app you moved.

then with resco, click-hold on the newly moved executable and choose 'send to' then 'start menu as shortcut'.

voila'

new shortcut
