Proud owner of Axim X50v

5 July the day that I became a proud owner of my Axim X50v! :) I waited long to choose which pda I could buy. I have already a Dell pc with no issues so my choice went to a Dell pda. With the summer discount of 20% and no transport charge I didn’t hesitate. I hadn’t the need to post something earlier on this great forum, because all of my question were already answered and I must say that this forum has all the information you need! This is my first pda, so I’m very new to all the possible things you can do with it. I mainly want to use it as a media device. But there are so many thinks you can do with it! ;) I have two trial programs: the weather panel and card export, two great programs. Are there alternative programs that are even good or are these programs worth to buy? Any other suggestions for great programs that I still don’t have (see MyPDA)?

Good start you have there. What software you use depends on what you use it for.. But I'd recomend Sprite Backup, Pocket Breeze and Clanger Theremin

There's lots of great programs out there, but the one I always load up first after a hard-reset is SPB Pocket Plus. It overcomes most of the limitations of WM2003SE, and makes moving around the interface much quicker and less frustrating. The tabbed Today page is a Godsend, as is being able to open new windows in Internet Explorer - it's a great series of worthwhile mods.
