successful ports..

i have done a good deal of research on pda owners porting linux to they're ppc. but nothing i have read to date has told of a successful setup. does anyone know of any? and while the subject is here, any
mac possibilities around?

there's nothing about ports in mac, and x50v project is almost non-existant. i look forward to when i use vga output making the ax my travel desktop- i'd be able to run gimp! that would make me so happy. one can dream.
it really can't be too difficult to put some distro on a Cf drive and boot into mac/linux. we just need the drivers.. d'oh!
