I install any app on the storage card which can run from there. Lets me keep my RAM free for programs.

Just use my X30 for music, video's and internet. So really don't have any other programs or storage or other stuff to run on it.

That's true. After I saw this thread I went in and adjusted and I can't get it to go above 45mb without auto-adjusting. Seems to run fine on its own regardless.

I think a better measure would be FREE program RAM at idle state (today page, nothing running, freshly rebooted).

One of the games I play, when I'm utterly bored, is try and see how far over I can move the slider before it adjusts its self. Another free game on the Axim :approve:

I've program memory set to 16.5MB, the lowest I can get it to go without it autoadjusting. It look quite a bit of tweaking to get the system to use just 10.5MB of RAM (with the other 6MB being free). I can't figure out why it autoadjusts but it seems to like having at least about 1/2 the amount used (10.5MB in my case) again free (so 5.25MB in my case). Also, the size that font cache is set to seems to affect it, although I'm not sure how (possibly it needs to have Font Cache - Presently Used Font Cache free for future font caching).
