Today plug in, which is the best and why
Well, Ok, I have listed my frustration with the price for the upgrade of sbp software plug in and understand at least can sympathize where everyone is coming from. I am over that now. Now I have the question of which software for a today plug in is the best of the two major names out there? Is it spb or Pocket Breeze? I am looking for a stable running program that will be supporting WM5 in the future. Your insight will be appreciated.

I've never had any problems with PocketBreeze and thier support is awesome. They are always coming out with new features to improve the product.

Well for me being new to the Pda world my first actuall software purchase was SPB 3.0 and I love it. The best way I have heard it desribed on this site was it is like a octopus spreading it's tentacles throughout the system and making everyhting easier to get to. This has some nice features( I wont embarass myself trying to list them) and makes my personal experiance much simpler. I must admit I never even checked out the other brand you mentioned because I read the posts people liked it. I deliberated a few days and when I checked the site I found version 3.0 instead of the 2.5 I had been looking at. I doubt this really helps as far as your technical questions but for my 2 cents I am happy with SPB. On a side note I keep hearing about Wisbar and am wondering what it's applications are and it's usefullness?

I agree the comparision is wrong. Perhaps you meant ILauncher which comes from the same maker and comparing it to Pocket Plus.

Well, it's not a Today plug-in but it offers a cascading start menu, a battery/memory meter on the Title Bar, a real "Close" button, and the ability to skin the entire operating system.
Similar to PocketPlus it also offers easy built-in access to "Rotate Screen" and "Soft-Reset".

It's a question of PB vs SPB Diary or Pocket Plus vs iLauncher.
FWIW, the SBSH programs win both times. PB is just all around better than Diary, although Diary brings some good ideas to the table (tabs down the side, for example). P+ is better than iLauncher if you need all the features, but if like me you just want some icons iLauncher uses less memory. Also, P+ gave me a lot of problems back when I tried it, although I later found out that I had a corrupt memory card which might have been to blame.
WA2: This is without a doubt the single program that I would not want to be without. A vastly better startmenu plus my choice of genuinely useful icons and options for the task bar makes it essential.

These are just 2 (different) plugins of the dozens available, not a very good poll :(
