Going to get an X50v, where's the best buy?

After weeks of research, deliberation, looking at models, comparing, and chatting on message boards, I have finally decided to make the jump from my palm o.s. tungsten E to the X50v! I was curious if there was any great place to shop besides Dell.com and was wondering if I went to eBay if the warranty is transferrable and if it would be wise to get it there. I just hate buying something then getting into the community to find it can be bought fifty bucks cheaper somewhere else. Thanks in advance!

I'm also planning on buying an x50v, and there really is no place cheaper than direct from dell. There are lots of 15% off coupons floating around, and combined with a $35 of $300 coupon, you can get an x50v for about $300... cheaper than used models on ebay.

I ended up getting mine through the forums. The only problem with not getting it at dell or a retailer is sometimes you don't get the best warranty. I think I only have the one year warranty, and for that matter I don't know how to redeem it if I needed to since I got it from another user.

So if a warranty is a big issue to you, you may want to find a place that can give you a good one with good explaination behind it.

I'd recommend buying from Dell, considering the warranty/extended warranty and the "Complete Care" could come in handy (just ask the poor fellow who left his on top of the car). Try this site for savings:

yeah, l recommend getting it straight from dell. they sometimes have vicious deals, but patience is important so just goto fatwallet.com or something to check out The deals.

$380 for 3 Axim X50v's is a pretty good deal. If I was looking to buy right now, I would probably take you up on that offer. Maybe give one to my gf and keep the other incase the first breaks.

Wait, are you selling all three for that price or just one at that price? I will buy them if you are doing all three just private message me and it's a done deal. But, I know you are probably saying for one unit.

Oh, and another place that I go to see deals on stuff is SlickDeals.net. Usually when you visit their chat forums on the right-hand side of the screen you can search in there to find "x50v" and possibly get some deals. Keep in mind that deals come and go, so if you just missed one today, in two more days there will probably be a new one.
