WiFi stops working after installing AvantGo

Wifi will no longer turn on for my X50v after installing the AvantGo software. So I remove AvantGo, and WiFi still doesn't turn on. I use the WiFi icon and select the "Turn On" option, but it doesn't comes on now. It was working fine before - any ideas?

Sounds more like a coincidence then being related.

I take it you already tried the soft reset? Do you have the wifi mapped to one of the hardware buttons? What happends when you press that?

Yeah, I tried soft resetting a couple times. I have re-mapped the side Wireless button to the screen rotate setting, as I turn on wireless from the bottom icons. So I guess a hard reset and re-installation of everything might be the only option right now?

EDIT: Changing the Wireless button back to Wireless turns on Bluetooth. Probably because that's the last wireless option that was wroking. If there's anything else I can try before hard-resetting - please let me know.
