internet explorer redirecting

I have an axim x50 520 mhz. for some reason when I try to launch my internet explorer it is not finding the site. When At work and if I type http://www.aximsite.com it goes to my intranet site for some reason. When at home -- with my wireless LAN, the page can not be displayed. I think it has a virus because when ever I go to other sites. . dell, ebay. . etc. it redirects me to my intranet site. something had changed

any ideas how to fix this?
