Bike or Die - X50

Hi, just got my shiny new x50v, and I'm very happy with it. Last week a mate was showing me his Palm Tungsten E and demonstrated Bike or Die. What an amazing game.

I checked the homepage of BOD but unfortunately the guy hasn't had a chance to convert it to the PPC. However I decided to trial Styletap (palm emu). It works fine on the trial version of BOD. Ok, its not as smooth and as hi-res, but still an achievement.

I purchased the full version of BOD because I wanted to try out the user designed levels.

Unfortuantely, whilst the level packs display, you can not select them. So a bit of a bug at the moment with Styletap. I've emailed both BOD author and styletap about the problem.

Anybody else have any luck with it ?

Saying that, its not what I really bought the axim for, but its such an addictive game !!

I was hooked on that game with my Clie, so I tried to use Styletap to run it on the Axim. It was a total flop... frame rate, controls, stability, etc. I finally gave up, figuring I could just fire up the old Sony if I missed BOD too much.

I've also asked the developer to make a PPC version. Perhaps if enough other people do so, he will do it. I have a nasty habit of giving away my old PDAs so someone else ended up with my Clie when Sony stopped PDAs in the states and I switched PPC (boy did I show Sony! They haven't been able to produce a decent movie since they learned of my defection.)
