file sharing between 2 PPCs

I have two X50Vs connected to each other through ad-hoc 802.11. They can ping each other using either IP address or PPC name. But I can't get them to share files.

Specifically, using either File Explorer or GSFinder and trying to get to the other PPC, I get the error message "Network Path Cannot be Found."

Does anyone have insights on this problem? I'm guessing that it has to do with setting up file sharing on the X50V, but I haven't figured out how to do that.

Right, the PPC does not have a "server component". You can get HTTP or FTP server software for the PPC, or you can use BT to transfer files.

Thanks, Howard2k. I got things working following your tip.

Also for smaller things like photos, you can use the send feature to send them via bluetooth. Pretty much no setup and works great (i use it between my phone and axim :) )
