experiences with SD kingston 1gb for X50v???

Just purchased a new X50v and wondering what brand of SD-card to buy?
I found kingston (standard) 1gb to be cheepest...anyone had troubles? ....slow? ...corruption?
(i've heard about "japan-problems)

Anyother brand which works without troubles?

greetings jay

I am using 1GB Lexar CF card and 1GB Sandisk SD card, both without any troubles at all (so far), although I have used only about 10% of the space on each.

I purchased my Kingston 1GB SD card from Dell.com and have had no trouble (after i formatted the card). I also have a SanDisk 1GB I use in my wife's x50, which I got from Buy.com and have had no problem (after I formatted the card). Good luck :approve:

I have not formatted my cards. (The manufacturers of my two cards made no mention of formatting.) Is it a good idea to format? Why?

these cards are great. I have both a Kingston 1 GB SD card and a compactflash 1 GB card and they both load great. move files great and playback files great. So you shouldn't have any problems.
