How can you stop loosing your WiFi settings on turn off?

I set up my WiFi connections to connect to my Linksys router, it works fine...great signal and speed, etc.....UNTIL I turn off the X50v. Once I do this and turn it back on it (X50v) trys to connect to my neighbors router and not mine.

I checked the FAQ and did a search and I didn't really find it, unless it was inside of another post, but how the heck do you stop this from happing?

Thanks?

Still new to it myself but I think you must add your linksys to prefered networks and somewhere in the options menu, turn off the option to connect to non-prefered networks..

Im still a fresh newbie to it, so dont take it for solid gold :)

Do as Morta suggests and, if your neighbor's network is on the same channel, change yours to something else (sticking with 1, 6 or 11).

Use WEP or WPA security on your network and you won't have this problem. Your neighbor should have it as well.

11 and 9 are too close (they actually have overlapping bandwidth) and can cause a problem with your signal. Change yours to 1 unless you know someone else in the neighborhood is using it. I have no idea what JedWare was referring to. Having security enabled on your router does not prevent your PPC from trying to connect to another network.
