Reinstalling Programs

I need some help! I may have to reload Windows.

I will have to reinstall programs like List Pro & E-Wallet, which also have a desktop icon.

What happens when the software wants to install on my 50v, which already has the programs up & running? Should I let it Install?

I also worry that all these programs will not sync again.

What exactly do you want to do? It appears to me you lost your icons and you want them back, is that it? is there another problem?

Just install the software to your PC and when you sync with the PPC and it loads the cab files on your PPC when it prompts you with "Program already installed, Overwrite?" say no. (as long as the same version is installed on your desktop and PPC anyway) I have done this with programs such as repligo, tiny stocks, cash organizer and so on when I upgraded my home PC and it worked fine.

If you do reinstall windows on your PC I would recommend that you reinstall ActiveSync first and make sure it is syncing with the PPC before you reload the other software.
