I have the ThinkOutside BT mouse and it tracks smoothly and scrolls correctly, but there is a lot of flakeyness in clicking and menu selection (drop down menus and context menus).

When I click to open a menu or highlight text, it seems like it opens AND selects something. This sucks when you want to copy/paste and somehow "undo" or "delete" is automatically selected AND performed!

That got me really shy about ever clicking anything.

The main app for this problem was Pocket Word.

Now that I think about it I wonder if it was only right clicking that does that? It seems like it was both buttons. Most selectino is done with the left button.

Anybody else have ThinkOutside mouse problems and craziness like this?

Tracking and clicking like normal is extremely smooth, virtually identical to a full PC experience. I don't have any flakes or issues other than right-click (which is easily solved by holding left click).
Just curious, if you turn off the TO mouse and your PDA for a while, does the mouse re-connect automatically once both are powered-up again?

Nice to know that I can use a mouse now! I have paired a KB already, now my "portable desktop" can be complered. Perhaps a bluetooth USB host could be added. Does such a thing exist? If not, I thought of it first, cha-ching!

That may be because your PPC still interprets mouse-clicks as stylus taps. Use the mouse like a stylus, thinking "tap" when you click, see how that works.

Ah - now I see - actually, I have a few E750's with bad touchscreens that I'm repairing, so I'll be able to use the USB host on them - but wireless is nice too.

Hey, does this cab file still exist? I can't find anything on cabfiles.net. It seems to be broken.
