Is 'In Production' to 'Shipping' possible on a sunday

just wondering if anyone has ever gone from 'in production' to 'shipping' when waiting on a Dell product, on a Sunday. In other words, should I take the day off waiting for my x50v and stop clicking 'order status'.

Hard to say, as I believe mine went from order to shipped during the business week. However, the estimated arrival date was fortunately quite conservative in my case, and it arrived about a week after I ordered.

I feel your pain, it seems to take forever when you're waiting.

Hopefully when I finally get it, there won't be a massive Anti-Climax and I wait several days to even charge up the batteries.

Mine has been stuck saying "In Transit to Local Carrier" since Friday morning, when it was apparently shipped. So next business day delivery would mean it should be here Monday.....hopefully.

For me it's usually a Round Robin...I check here for new messages to read, then my email to see if Dell has sent me any more concessions or one of those 'hook ups'. Then it's back to the Dell page to see if I changed to shipped...then I start all over again.

Highly unlikely.

Sorry. But, I am pretty sure you will get yours soon.

well, it is sort of like the lottery, even Dell thinks so. When I received notification my cf card had shipped they said, CONGRATULATIONS!

u r too funny! i really have to laugh at myself. i'm sitting here thinking... really, isn't the night before Christmas MORE EXCITING than Christmas morning???? i mean, i'm loving the excitment and anticipation, the surfing for info, meeting great new people here, it's all so terrific. but... once it arrives all this wonderful excitement will be gone!!! so really, we should all "savour" this anxious excitment and not take it too seriously.... well.. maybe "a little" seriously will be ok???

(p.s. i think i've run up to my office and clicked the dell button 50 times today - THE KIDS THINK I AM NUTS!) martimom

Well, on the east coast sunday is almost over, so in my case, the answer is NO, not possible. If the x50v doesn't get here soon i'll run out of accessories to buy...so far i've ordered the bt keyboard, (2) 1gb SD/CF cards, screen protectors straight from Hong Kong and a VGA OUT cable. Only things left are a GPS/leather case/backup stylus/3-in-1 charger...after that I should be about done...

I'll wait till I get the ppc to order software.
