Being a student on a very limited budget, does anyone here know of any discounts on phatpad or any good comprable note-taking software? I need a good program to help me this year with jotting down notes. I have already looked into purchasing a keyboard and most likely will be doing that in the near future. Despite that, I would still love to have an app to use on those days when I just dont feel like whipping out the keyboard.

I like MessagEase personally. It took a while to get used to, but I'm up to 38-40 wpm on it. You can find it at

Personally - I use Phatpad. It's really good.

One alternative might be to use your PPC's inbuilt Notes software or Pocket Word's 'Writing mode.
