ROM A05 Released

More info and direct links here:
http://www.pocketpcthoughts.com/inde...n=expand,42197

Friendly advice: remember to connect your PDA directly to the USB port (not via a hub) and temporarily disable your anti-virus AND your firewall when upgrading or there is a higher possibility to stumble on flashing problems.

Update: Dell removed the update from their HTML site (for now), but the files are still on their FTP site and freely available:

X50v VGA: ftp://ftp.us.dell.com/utility/R106214.EXE
X50 QVGA: ftp://ftp.us.dell.com/utility/R106213.EXE

Dell say the SDIO transfer rate will be increased to 19.5. Does anyone know what it is now?

I don't know if there is any diference between A04 and A05
I can not really feel it. Is hard to say.
I am trying to copy 700MB file to my SD card and I noticed that every 1MB takes about 2-3sek. to copy.

I can't find them on the Dell site, but they are on the FTP site. Direct links are:

X50 VGA : ftp://ftp.dell.com/utility/R106214.exe
X50 QVGA: ftp://ftp.dell.com/utility/R106213.exe

Has anyone tried it yet?
