lcd colour are diffrent .. no stuntcar extreme in cd

i finally recieved my 2 units of x50v
well they are great, but.. the lcd of both units are diffrent
in comparison ones white is whiter and the other has a tint of purple plus it has a dead pixel ..

would like to know if complete cover covers this.
any way how would i know if dell gave me the warranty program as i dont find any warranty card saying that i have purchased the complete cover.

by the way both my units are made in taiwan the batt is made in china and the spare batt that i ordered is made in korea

i never knew china produces li-ions ..
but i know korea and japan do..

can someone tell me where is my service tag code i dont seem to get it right..to sign up in dell's web site

lastly i dun see my stuntcar extreme on the cd.....
but enigmo is there...

If these are new units, send back the one with the dead pixel - dell will send you another new unit. Don't delay as you only have a week or so to get a new replacement.
If they are refurbs, dell will send you another refurb to replace it.

While we're talking about colour problems...

I have noticed that colours seem darker on my Pocket PC than on my desktop PC. Is there an application to adjust the brightness/contrast of the display? I have the backlight brightness on full, so that's not the problem.

eck, a dead pixel, hopefully I won't have any problems with mine...after waiting almost 2 weeks I'd hate to have to package it back up and return it.

nope if i put both units brightness to full.
one white is whiter and the other has a slight tint of purple.

i have that LCD problem with my phone.
i compared my phone to my friends phone (they are the same model, Alphacell M5) and my friends LCD looks more purple.
